You can contact PrimeAlert’s data protection officer at info@primealert.es, marking your message “For the attention of the data protection officer”.
2. Scope
This information covers browsing and enquiries or requests for information and quotations made through the website, email or telephone. Contracted services, security installations and processing of images or alarm signals have their own information where relevant. Sending an enquiry does not constitute a service contract or permission to send advertising.
3. Information we process
Information you provide may include your name, telephone number, email address, town, property type, requested service and message. Systems serving the website and email may also process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to provide the service and handle incidents.
Provide only what is needed to assess your request. Avoid sending passwords, alarm codes, copies of identity documents or information that could compromise installation security unless requested through an appropriate channel.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Quotation or service requests: responding, contacting you and preparing a proposal. Where you are the prospective contracting party, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract under GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
- Other enquiries and professional contacts: responding and maintaining communication about the matter raised. The basis is PrimeAlert’s legitimate interest in handling incoming communications and liaising with professional contacts under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). You may object where applicable.
- Channel operation and security: serving the website, managing email and detecting or resolving faults and misuse. The basis is the legitimate interest in maintaining available, secure channels.
- Legal duties: complying with applicable requirements and responsibilities under GDPR Article 6(1)(c).
- Non-essential cookies and similar technologies: governed by the cookie information and choices and, where required, your consent. Change your choices through Cookie settings.
Mandatory form fields are identified. Without necessary information, we may be unable to respond or prepare a proposal. An enquiry alone does not authorise advertising campaigns.
5. Retention
Enquiry information is used while handling the request and following up the proposal. When this ends, information will be deleted once no longer needed, except data that must be retained with restricted access to meet legal duties or address potential liabilities during the applicable limitation periods. Retention needs are reviewed in light of the request’s status and relevant obligations. Cookie durations appear in the cookie policy.
6. Providers and disclosures
Dragonet Comunicaciones S.L., Spanish tax number B53059051, provides PrimeAlert’s hosting and email management. It may access data needed to provide those services as a processor, subject to the applicable data protection terms and duties.
Data may also be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law. External cookie-related services, their operators and purposes are described in the cookie policy. Common business ownership does not authorise using PrimeAlert data for another company’s campaigns.
7. External services and international transfers
External services enabled on the website and their technologies are described in the cookie policy and provider information. Where they involve transfers outside the European Economic Area, a valid basis must exist, such as an adequacy decision or GDPR safeguards. Contact PrimeAlert using the details above to request information about providers involved in your processing, data destinations, safeguards or how to obtain a copy of them.
8. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where applicable by emailing info@primealert.es or writing to the address above. Specify the right you wish to exercise and information needed to locate your request. Additional identity information will only be requested when necessary.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you consider your rights have not been respected.
9. Artificial intelligence
PrimeAlert uses AI tools to assist with writing and design on this website. It currently does not offer an AI chatbot for visitors. Information about any future assistant will be provided before its use.
10. Changes and further information
This policy will be updated when the processing described changes. See also the legal notice and cookie policy.
